Trinity Model

Developed by IFNA member, Lorraine M. Wright, RN, PhD, and currently described in Suffering and Spirituality: The Path to Illness Healing (2017). This is an advanced practice model that focuses on beliefs, illness suffering, and spirituality using a Family Systems Nursing orientation. 

Earlier publication: Spirituality, Suffering, and Illness:  Ideas for Healing (2005).This version has been translated into Portuguese and Japanese. 

A DVD related to the Trinity Model has been developed by Lorraine M. Wright, RN, PhD: Spirituality, suffering, and illness: Conversations for Healing (2007) and is available from: Dr. Lorraine Wright.
