IFNA Position Statement on Pre-Licensure Family Nursing Education

The IFNA Family Nursing Education Committee has developed an IFNA Position Statement on Pre-Licensure Family Nursing Education. Drafted by Nancyruth Liebold (USA), the document was reviewed and edited by IFNA members: Kathryn Hoehn Anderson (USA), Janice M. Bell (Canada), Dorothee J.H. O’Sullivan Burchard (Scotland), Francine de Montigny (Canada), Sharon Denham (USA), Maria do Céu Barbieri Figueiredo (Portugal), Romy Mahrer-Imhof (Switzerland), Barbara Mandleco (USA), Carole A. IFNA Position Statement on Generalist Competencies for Family Nursing Practice

The IFNA Family Nursing Practice Committee has developed an IFNA Position Statement on Generalist Competencies for Family Nursing Practice that is now available in 3 versions in English with translations in Chinese, Danish, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Thai. IFNA Practice Committee members who participated in the development of the Position Statement included: Kathryn Hoehn Anderson (USA), France Dupuis (Canada), Janice M. Bell (Canada), Norma Krumwiede (USA), Cristina Garcia-Vivar (Spain), Li-Chi Chiang (Taiwan), Michiko Moriyama (Japan), Francine de Montigny (Canada), Maria do Céu Barbieri-Figueiredo (Portugal), and Christina Nyirati (USA).
