“Worldwide Perspectives on Family” Available on IFNA YouTube Channel

Screen Shot 2016-05-30 at 4.48.32 PMA video called, “Worldwide Perspectives on Family” is now available for educational purposes on the IFNA YouTube channel.  The video has been edited in 4 varied lengths ranging from 3.37 minutes to 16:45 minutes.

Members of the IFNA International Research Collaboration Subcommittee interviewed families in four countries (Japan, Australia, Denmark, and the United States) as part of the “Defining Family” project.  Families were asked, “What is family?” and “What do families do together?” This project was featured in a presentation at the 12th International Family Nursing in Odense, Denmark in August 2015 called, “Strengthening families worldwide: Potential directions for an international collaboration in family nursing research“.
