Dr. Kirsi Coco, University of Eastern Finland, [email protected] and Dr. Hannele Turunen, Nurse Director (part-time) Kuopio University Hospital, Professor, University of Eastern Finland, [email protected] are conducting research which examines what supporting family members of TBI patients entails, how often nursing staff provide support for family members, and what kind of nursing competence (basic/advanced) is needed to support family members on neurosurgical wards.
