Dr. Susan Sullivan-Bolyai: 2015 Recipient of the Suzanne Feetham Nurse Scientist Family Research Award (ENRS)

 

Susan Sullivan-BolyaiSusan Sullivan-Bolyai DNSc, CNS, RN, FAAN, Associate Professor, Director Florence S Downs PhD Program in Nursing Research & Theory Development, NYU College of Nursing is the recipient of the 2015 Suzanne Feetham Nurse Scientist Family Research Award, US Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS).

The goal of Dr. Sullivan-Bolyai’s family-focused intervention research (parent and teen mentorship, using human patient simulators to enhance parent and preteen education) is to help families (children, preteens, parents , and through her student’s work, grandparents and emerging adults) better manage and function with the daily care required when a child has Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
