Barbara Preusse-Bleuler Facilitates Family Nursing Implementation Projects in Switzerland and Italy

AFN group picture 2016Barbara Preusse-Bleuler, MScN, RN, (Switzerland) facilitates several family nursing implementation projects throughout Switzerland and Italy. She initiated and supervised the translation of two editions of Nurses & Families: A Guide to Family Assessment and Intervention (Wright & Leahey) into the German language. Barbara recently organized a successful 4-day workshop focused on advanced family nursing practice at Zurich University of Applied Sciences which was attended by 28 nurses from 5 countries (Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, USA). This was the third offering of this intensive Family Externship workshop co-taught by Dr. Lorraine Wright (Canada) and Dr. Janice M. Bell (Canada) which included a live therapeutic family nursing conversation with a Swiss family.
