The International Family Nursing Association (IFNA) began an exciting new initiative of IFNA Awards in 2015 to recognize and celebrate IFNA members and organizations who are providing outstanding contributions to transform health for families worldwide and advance the nursing of families.
37 Family Nursing Awards were initially sponsored by the Journal of Family Nursing (Dr. Janice M. Bell, Editor) between 2005 and 2011 beginning at the 7th International Family Nursing Conference in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and continuing through the 10th International Family Nursing Conference in Kyoto, Japan.
