The expert lecture will include an overview of the process of developing a checklist and go through the five sequential stages of how the child-centred research checklist was developed. The lecturers will then demonstrate with an exemplar how to use the child-centred research checklist. This will then move into an interactive phase where participants will use the child-centred research checklist on a research proposal provided by the lecturers. The expert lecture will close with an invitation for participants to join the next phase of this project, being engagement with children and their families to refine the checklist.
