Dr. Karin Dieperink Examines Impact of Cancer on Family Health

Karin B. Dieperink, RN, MCN, PhD, is a clinical research nurse and an Associate Professor at the Department of Oncology, and the Danish Knowledge Centre of Rehabilitation and Palliative Care (REHPA) Odense University Hospital, Denmark as well as the Deputy Head of Department of Clinical Research at University of Southern Denmark. Karin is a board member of the Danish Association of Family Nursing.
 
Her doctoral research focused on rehabilitation in prostate cancer care and she is particularly interested in understanding the impact of cancer on family health and exploring the usefulness of family nursing interventions with families experiencing cancer. She is involved in international collaboration with family nursing researchers in Australia as well as in the European Family Health Network with researchers from Finland, Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Iceland, and Sweden. For more information contact IFNA member, Karin Dieperink.
