Dr. Junko Honda Receives Funding as Visiting International Scholar to Study with Dr. Kathleen Knafl

Dr. Junko Honda, Associate Professor, Division of Family Health Care Nursing, Kobe University, Japan, was recently selected and funded by Kobe University to travel abroad as a long-term young research scholar. In January 2016, Dr. Honda began a 6 month term as a Visiting International Scholar at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, USA. She is working with Dr. Kathleen Knafl on the mixed methods Family Synthesis Project  and with Dr. Marcia Van Riper.  Dr. Junko Honda currently serves as a member of the IFNA Practice Committee and the IFNA Resource Advancement Committee.  She also recently received certification from the Transcultural Nursing Society. For more information contact IFNA member, Junko Honda.
