Suzanne, who works as the clinical educator in the oncology unit at the Gold Coast Hospital developed a close link between Dr. Coyne, the researcher, and practicing nurses on the unit. Suzanne is an experienced family nurse who provided education and support to families during their oncology journey. Over the conduct of  the two research studies, Suzanne was instrumental in achieving good recruitment and research outcomes in the projects. Suzanne’s skills in family nursing have been an example to practicing nurses on the oncology unit who are now open to future research opportunities.
