This year at the 12th International Family Nursing Conference , the IFNA Conference Committee will sponsor the first ever IFNC Raffle. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in two ways: 1) donating one or more items, and 2) purchasing raffle tickets and trying to win selected items.
If you are interested in donating an item, the IFNA Conference Committees encourages you to bring something from your hometown, country, or place of employment. We especially encourage donation of items having something to do with family and family nursing. When deciding what to donate, try to pick something that will travel well – meaning it is compact, lightweight and can be easily transported in a suitcase. Here are a few suggestions: cultural items; handmade items; jewelry; pictures; books; music CDs; key chains; clothing items, such as shirts, scarves, and hats; chocolate and other types of candy; autographed items, such as family nursing books. Alternatively, you could donate a service, such as specific number of hours of expert consultation (e.g., research design, curriculum development, or manuscript review).
Please bring the item with you when you come to the 12th International Family Nursing Conference. When you drop-off the item at the conference registration desk, you will be asked to provide a description of the item and the estimated value.
