Dr. Karen Rose, PhD, RN, FGSA, FAAN, is a professor at The Ohio State University, USA. Her research interests focus on supporting family caregivers for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. She is also interested in examining how technology interventions can be developed and deployed to augment the quality of relationships and the quality of life for family caregivers and people living with dementia. Dr. Rose’s work includes developing an instrument to measure the family quality of life in dementia. She has received funding for her work from the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and state and private foundations.
