Israel Gabriel Improves the Quality of Life of Individuals and Families Experiencing Cancer in Low and Middle-Income Countries

Israel O. Gabriel, MScN, RN, is a perioperative nurse, nurse anesthetist, public health nurse, nurse educator, and doctoral candidate at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Griffith University, Brisbane, Queensland Australia. He has over 23 years of experience working in secondary and tertiary hospitals working in critical care, operating theatre, and post-basic nursing education. Israel’s areas of research include patient, family, and oncology, focusing on how to improve the quality of life of people living with cancer and their families in low and middle-income countries. He has also been involved in the development and appraisal of psychosocial/spiritual interventions for this population. Recent publications include:
