In recent days and weeks, members of the International Family Nursing Association have been deeply saddened by the heinous attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils, Spain; Charlottesville, Virginia; London and Manchester, England, and the Florida school shooting. We recognize the many families directly impacted by such violence. We want to express our deepest sympathy to the families and all those touched by these senseless acts of violence. We call on family nurses everywhere to speak out against such acts of hate-filled violence and to strengthen our efforts and resolve to advocate and care for all patients and families with respect, dignity, and a deep appreciation of our shared humanity. We encourage family nurses to support all families in their difficulties. #familyhealth #familyhealing
