Participation from over 500 nurses and other health care professionals from 40 countries is expected at the Conference. Current IFNA initiatives include development of educational competencies; practice standards; and global research priorities and strategies, which are posted on our website at https://internationalfamilynursing.org/. IFNA and its members provide leadership regarding family partnerships, engagement, and activation that further shared decision-making, patient and family centered care, and ultimately family health.
IFNA is the only international nursing organization focusing exclusively on family health. While many organizations and individuals are concerned with specific issues related to the family, IFNA integrates concerns across the family’s life cycle. With over 30,000 thousand visitors from 167 countries to its website, IFNA is the research, education, and practice hub for family nurses worldwide.
