Chintana Wacharasin, RN, PhD, is an Associate Professor, Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, Thailand. Her work in family nursing education and practice focuses on families with children experiencing chronic illness. Her research emphasizes the exploration and development of family nursing interventions that address illness suffering of families with chronically ill children and promote health. Dr. Wacharasin also engages in synthesis research related to Thai families. She has written a new textbook on advanced practice in family nursing:
