Dr. Francine de Montigny, Canadian Research Chair in Psychosocial Family Health and professor at Université du Québec en Outaouais, Canada will receive the Insignia of Merit from the Order of Nurses of Quebec. The Insignia of Merit is the highest distinction conferred by the Order of Nurses of Quebec and honours nurses whose distinguished career has made an extraordinary contribution to the advancement of nursing and to the prestige of the profession. Francine de Montigny leads family nursing knowledge development in the area of family health and fatherhood in the perinatal period. She is a Founding Member of IFNA.
