Dr. Sue Kirk is a nurse researcher in the United Kingdom, School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work, University of Manchester, who investigates the effects of disability and chronic illness on families and how support can be developed to meet their needs. Her primary research interests center on the experiences and support needs of disabled children and young people and those with long-term/life-limiting conditions and their families. Her research interests extend to adult chronic condition management and the role played by health technologies and social networks in self-care support.
