Update from the 2013 IFNC11 Conference Planning Committee
The Conference Planning Committee continues to move forward with plans for the 2013 IFNC11 conference (June 19-22 in Minneapolis Minnesota, USA). We have identified liaisons in 16 countries who have agreed to work with us to encourage participation of colleagues in their country, and the site for abstract submission will be available in fall of 2012. The response to our membership survey asking for input on program topics and speakers was tremendous. Responses indicated that there is considerable interest in sessions addressing innovative approaches to family research, curriculum development, and teaching strategies. Our members also want to learn more about making family care a reality in diverse practice setting and developing international partnerships. They are concerned about the place of family nursing in the profession and health care systems and are seeking opportunities for leadership in educational and practice settings. Your ideas and suggestions will guide our efforts to identify speakers and workshop topics We thank you for your input and welcome further input. You can share your input in the “2013 Conference” group [LINK]
